Greg Ramirez, Henry Stanton and Mike Marano, principals of SMG America, each were distinguished members of the Chicago Police Department. Their department assignments ranged from the mayor’s security detail and tactical operations to public housing and public transit. Their service also included vice operations, child abuse investigation, intelligence work and patrol. All three have received certification by the US Secret Service. Even though retired from the police department, owner Greg Ramirez provides Peer Support to the Chicago Police Department voluntarily through the Chicago Police Department’s Employee Assistance Program.
